A few weeks ago, Katy Perry paraded through the streets of the beautiful island for the recording of the video for her next single, “Lifetimes”. The artist chose to stay at the acclaimed Six Senses resort, known for its commitment to sustainable living. During her stay, she visited the resort’s boutique, Agora, where she fell in love with the Shanghai dress, designed by Ibizan Jenny Guerrero for her Jenny in Ibiland brand.
However, she encountered a small inconvenience when trying to buy it, since at Agora haute couture dresses are not for sale, but are rented. The boutique promotes sustainable fashion. Thus, the singer rented the dress and used it as her main outfit for the video clip. At the end of the filming, she returned it to the store. Jenny’s designs can be found at Annie’s Ibiza, Agora or through its online store.
The Shanghai dress by Jenny in Ibiland, the Spanish fashion brand founded in 2011 with an artistic vision of corsetry, is the version A corseted version of the classic Chinese dress. This is a handmade dress made in Ibiza, available only on request. It is made of a metallic leatherette fabric, lined with cotton and with a zipper on the back. The collar has a traditional Chinese cut in black satin.
Katy Perry has officially sold her music rights to Litmus Music for $225 million.
