With every seam and every graphic line of the Cannage, this unique creation embodies the perfect convergence between the timeless elegance of the Maison and the audacity that has always driven innovation within Dior. It has always been much more than an accessory: a symbol of timeless desire that continues to evolve on the border between haute couture and the avant-garde. And since 2016, as part of the Dior Lady Art Project, the French fashion house has opened a unique space for international artists to transform this piece into a canvas, where each reinterpretation is a manifestation of their personal and creative vision.

The ninth edition of this exciting project features a number of artists who bring their unique perspective to this emblem of metamorphosis. Names such as Sara Flores, Jeffrey Gibson, Huang Yuxing, Liang Yuanwei, Danielle McKinney, Duy Anh Nhan Duc, Hayal Pozanti, Faith Ringgold, Vaughn Spann, Anna Weyant and Woo Kukwon immerse themselves in the Lady Dior universe, expanding the narrative of their works and taking this classic to places where creativity merges with the art of meticulous detail.
