An ambassador for the Maison for more than eight years, Novak Djokovic has built a relationship with it marked by excellence, perseverance and ambition.

Beyond being an extraordinary player, his tenacity, mindset and values have helped to strengthen and amplify the brand. Transforming our Crocodile into a GOAT today to pay tribute to him, and presenting the collection here, where René built his legend, was an obvious choice. This initiative reflects our ability to reinvent our codes while remaining faithful to René Lacoste’s legacy,” said Thierry Guibert, CEO of Lacoste.
The GOAT collection consists of five essential pieces—a polo shirt, T-shirt, tracksuit jacket, cap, and trousers—all featuring the new logo, which replaces the crocodile with a goat, symbolising eternity. This highly limited edition will only be available in a select few countries.
The official presentation took place on 22 August at Lacoste‘s new flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York, where the athlete was able to share a very intimate moment with his fans and reveal the secrets behind the capsule collection.
