The legendary Italian singer and style icon will release her next single on the fashion house’s music platform.
Considered one of the most important Italian artists of all time, Mina has recorded more than 80 LPs since 1958 and a total of 1,395 songs in Italian, English, Spanish, Neapolitan, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese and Turkish. In 1978, she decided to withdraw from the media spotlight and has not appeared publicly since.
It is for this very reason that her partnership with Balenciaga is so important, and to celebrate it her new song will be presented through a limited edition of Balenciaga Music | Mina scanner products. All of them will incorporate an NFC chip that when activated allows the single to be unlocked.
The launch is scheduled for 19 September, and will be available in some of the fashion house’s physical boutiques as well as on its official website.
