Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025 goes far beyond what happens in the Parc del Fòrum. The festival extends throughout the city, offering music lovers an experience that extends beyond the three main days. Primavera a la Ciutat, the festival’s parallel programme, is set to transform the city into a hive of concerts of all kinds, from 2 to 8 June.
With a line-up that includes names such as Nilüfer Yanya, Kneecap, Peter Doherty and the legendary Tinariwen, Primavera a la Ciutat is a unique platform to experience music in all its forms. The concerts will be spread across seven venues in Barcelona: Sala Apolo, La (2) de Apolo, Razzmatazz, Paral-lel 62, La Nau, LAUT and Enfants. This is not just an addition, but a veritable explosion of sounds ranging from the most experimental proposals to the most eagerly awaited hits.
An agenda full of surprises
In addition to the already announced Beach House, The Jesus Lizard, Kim Deal, Los Campesinos!, Chat Pile, Salem and Horsegirl, some of the most outstanding artists on the Primavera Sound 2025 line-up are adding exclusive concerts in these venues for Primavera a la Ciutat, which guarantees an unrepeatable offer in the city. Access to these concerts will be mainly for season ticket holders, but individual tickets will also be on sale for those who want to join the party.
For those looking for something more accessible, Primavera Pro presents a series of free concerts at the CCCB, with free admission for the general public. From Wednesday to Friday, the Primavera Pro programme includes 22 daytime concerts, combining local artists with a global range of musicians from places like Argentina, Norway, France and South Korea. Among the confirmed names are JENYS, xicu, OSKA, Remei de Ca la Fresca and Juana Aguirre.
The festival doesn’t end on Sunday
And as if that weren’t enough, the opening day at the Parc del Fòrum, which will be free of charge, promises to be another of the great attractions of this year’s edition. Caribou, La Casa Azul, Hinds and Llum will kick off the festival on Wednesday 4th June, an event that will serve as a prelude to what is to come in the following days. The music does not stop at Primavera Sound 2025, and with Primavera a la Ciutat, Barcelona is transformed into a party for the whole week. If you have already sold out your tickets for the Parc del Fòrum, there is no excuse: the city is the stage.
