The HYKE SS24 collection concentrates on a kind of nucleus in which different functionalities and utilitarian designs converge to confront modern life.
It’s a creative union that debuted on August 31st on the Tokyo runway, where we could see how the Japanese brand continues to evolve, giving new meaning to its pieces through reconstructed designs inspired by vintage military and sportswear in a minimalist palette of sandy beige and slate grey.
Within the collaborative capsule, cosy and functional silhouettes such as military-inspired outerwear, technical Pertex capes, flowing skirts and exclusive accessories co-created by brands such as Beautiful Shoes and bag maker Chacoli add sophistication to the range.
From designs such as bolero waistcoats to long sleeve tops are connected by that functional backdrop: high performance and trail running, combining HYKE’s minimalist aesthetic with The North Face’s innovative technology and materials in a single series bathed in a palette of military green, grey and black tones.
One of the highlights of the line are the trail shoes, in black and khaki green, constructed with a mesh upper and a flap panel with code-share detailing. The sneakers are complete with lugged soles suitable for both mountain trails and exploring the city.
The North Face x HYKE SS24 capsule collection, priced from 3,850 to 71,500 Japanese yen (24 to 448 euros), will go on sale February 22 at 11 a.m. JST on the HYKE and Goldwin websites.
