The Salomon ‘Speedcross 3’ receives the Y/Project treatment

After diverting his proposal from the PFW circuit, Glenn Martens presents his sartorial vision for the fall-winter 2024 season through a lookbook in which stars like Charli XCX or Tyga line up. A sequence in which not only the garments dazzle, but also the exclusive footwear in collaboration with Salomon.

Y/Project, having already offered a preview of this deconstructed silhouette a few days ago, returns with an extended look of its joint iteration of the ‘Speedcross 3‘, which, like the rest of the collection, are part of the tribute to the 10 years of Glenn Martens in the fashion house.

The twisted sneakers feature a satin cluster upper constructed from a breathable material that evokes the brand’s signature twisted fabrics explored in previous seasons. These retain the Speedcross 3’s quick lacing system and famously chunky outsole, joined by collaborative logos that run throughout the model to identify its status.

The Salomon Speedcross 3 by Y/Project arrives in two classic colorways, black and white, and is expected to release in August 2024.
