The second chapter of Online Ceramics x The North Face is here

Online Ceramics and The North Face first connected in April to celebrate Earth Day, and this time they are teaming up again for their second chapter together.

Chapter 2 of the Online Ceramics x The North Face special collection includes a host of apparel and gear inspired by the California climbing culture of the 1960s. The collaboration is centered around the design ethos they both share, “Built for life” and created for “Camping and outdoor wear”.

Keeping with the sustainable trend they brought in the first collaboration with the use of the new Re-Grind platform, a process that repurposes factory waste into garments, the brands have employed a variety of recycled materials. Sustainable fabrics and high-performance materials are combined together, such as FlashDry-XD™ fabrics with their waterproof functionality and UPF 50+ protection throughout the series.

Among other pieces in the collection are the 1995 Polartec® Denali, the Windjammer, the Brimmer Hat, the Basecamp Box perfect for organizing gear and transportation, and the packable Polartec® blanket with colorful graphics. “Forest Hugger,” “Star Person” and “Happiness Inside” inscriptions appear on hoodies, T-shirts and pants.

“When The North Face was founded in 1966, camping was a fringe activity for those looking to escape through the peace and quiet of the outdoors,” says David Whetstone, Senior Design Manager of Collaborations and Special Projects at The North Face. “Our Summer 2023 Collection with Online Ceramics takes inspiration from the spirit of this era with an assortment of outdoor hiking and camping products that fuse The North Face’s performance DNA and Online Ceramics’ artistic direction.”

Chapter 2 of the Online Ceramics x The North Face collection will be available online and in TNF stores such as The North Face Concept Store at K11 Art Mall starting June 23 priced between $50 and $350 USD.
