This innovative Fashion Week is organized by Maison Meta, a creative studio founded by the Trendlad consultancy, which is dedicated to exploring the possibilities of generative AI in fashion.
In collaboration with U.S. firm Revolve, they have prepared a second edition that not only validates the biennial nature of this virtual catwalk, but also introduces innovative physical activations starting in Milan and culminating in New York.
The selection process to participate in the event opened on November 3 and concludes on November 8. Participants design their virtual proposals using generative artificial intelligence tools, and a jury, whose members have not yet been confirmed, will select the finalist collections.
In the first stage, from November 15 to 19, the virtual proposals will be exhibited in Milan alongside the 10 winning collections from the previous edition in association with Condé Nast Italia’s PhotoVogue platform. The celebration will then move to New York, where from November 29-30 the final proposals will be presented along with the collections of the previous edition’s winners.
Revolve, as official sponsor, will turn into reality the garments of three collections selected from among the 10 winners of the first edition, giving emerging designers a unique opportunity to boost their careers in fashion.
On the other hand, we tell you all about the new Cristóbal Balenciaga biographical series.
