The timeless elegance of the Santo Mauro offers curator Carol Sepúlveda of The Global Art Company and the distinguished social club JOMO, producer of the exhibition, the ideal setting to host the unpublished works of Spain’s leading contemporary artists.
The nineteenth-century elegance and distinctive aristocratic air of the Hotel Santo Mauro become the perfect setting for tradition and the avant-garde to engage in a dialogue between different generations and artistic styles. From 10 to 17 March, the halls of the Santo Mauro will host Ethereal, an ephemeral exhibition of unpublished works by renowned artists Eladio de Mora dEmo, Jaime Monge, Anna Barrachina, Miguel Díaz Belda and Äcondieresis. In addition, a sixth renowned artist will join the exhibition in a more discreet way, as his work can only be visited by appointment.
Among the artists exhibiting at Ethereal there is a representation of the Spanish creative avant-garde, such as Eladio de Mora – dEmo, FIAT’s ambassador in Spain and one of the most innovative Spanish artists with the greatest international projection; Jaime Monge, trained in architecture, but currently immersed in other artistic fields capable of liberating his creative universe and transmitting his emotions and experiences; Anna Barrachina who, with her bright and energetic colours, radiates happiness and serenity.
Miguel Díaz Belda-Maika, trained with the master Modesto Trigo and a daring explorer of textures, colours and shapes, who also urges the spectator to immerse himself in a world where sensory perception and emotional interpretation intertwine; and the already consolidated artist Nicolás Villamizar- Äcondieresis, possessor of a diverse expression, with a great visual charge, and well equipped with a message, in which he fuses everything from classical painting to street art.
Finally, the full proceeds from the sale of one of Ethereal’s artworks will go to the Global Gift Foundation, led by Spanish philanthropist Maria Bravo and actress Eva Longoria and dedicated to creating a positive impact on the lives of children, women and families in vulnerable situations and/or at risk of social exclusion.
