Nicolas Di Felice took Courrèges on a live solar cycle, where each outing added degrees until reaching nearly 30º under blinding light.

The sun dictates Courrèges Spring/Summer 2026

Nicolas Di Felice has turned his new collection for Courrèges into a fashion weather report, literally. From sunrise to a blinding midday at 30º, each look on the runway progresses as if following the sun’s path at its highest point.

The collection kicks off at 21º, with aquatic blues and cool cuts. Bodysuits with sheer visors, plaid miniskirts turned into solar panels, and ultra-thin belts with a sixties vibe marked a chilly start. As the thermometer rose, the garments relaxed in their form: at 24º, swimsuits appeared fused with deep-cut dresses, maxi-volume safari jackets, and flowing skirt-pants.

The climax came at 30º, when the Courrèges archive melted into total looks of vegetable vinyl in sunset tones, silk and sequin dresses constructed from parasols, and miniskirts converted into a solar uniform. Everything shone, everything burned, everything protected. An obsession with light that turned the catwalk into an anti-UV laboratory.

The set design—created in collaboration with Remy Brière & Matiere Noire—abandoned the classic square and transformed into a circle. And the original music by Di Felice and Erwan Sene pushed the crescendo to the final dazzling moment. A literal climax: the audience blinded by the light, the metaphor of a maison that never stopped looking at the light.
