One of the most striking AI-generated works is the recent video showing Harry Potter characters wearing Demna’s Balenciaga aesthetic. The 55-second clip was created by Patreon user demonflyingfox, and Elon Musk himself has responded to some tweets with flaming emojis showing his sympathy for AI replicas.

“I keep thinking about what combinations and mash-ups of popular media might work,” demonflyingfox said. “I had already placed Harry in the Yakuza world, so it was only a matter of time before I thought about the fashion bubble…and the most memeable company is probably Balenciaga right now.”

Sunken cheekbones, oversized sunglasses, Professor Snape asking Harry the difference between H&M and Balenciaga and Dobby with pierced ears make this piece masterful.

It’s getting harder and harder to distinguish reality from fictional works. “I can’t talk about my other projects yet,” says demonflyingfox. “But what I can say is that I’m working on a sequel to the Harry Potter Balenciaga video, since people are asking for more.”
