The Weeknd says he won’t collaborate with more artists unless Daft Punk reunites

The Canadian delivered the message at his latest performance in Warsaw, Poland, just before performing his new song ‘Another One of Me‘.

According to what he has shared with the public, it is an unreleased track and the last collaboration of his career, as he assures that he will not record with other artists unless Daft Punk returns to the scene. In Abel‘s own words: “The next song I’m going to perform is unreleased. I haven’t released it yet. It’s called ‘Another One of Me’ and I want to say that this is going to be the last featuring in my career”.

Hours later, as usual, The Weeknd shared a video on Instagram immortalising the moment, accompanied by a caption announcing “the final feature… unless daft punk ever get back together”. An ultimatum that comes as no surprise, as he has shown his admiration for the French duo on numerous occasions, and in 2016 they recorded the smash hit ‘Starboy’.

An official release date for the single has not yet been confirmed but rumour has it that it could be coming soon.In the meantime… Enjoy The Weeknd‘s greatest hits on Spotify.
