Airbnb has published its annual study that establishes which will be the most desired destinations in the coming year based on the most frequent searches of its users.
2024 is about to begin and with it comes our desire to travel and embark on new adventures (if they ever left). Many of us add to our annual bucket list the desire to discover somewhere new in the world and Airbnb knows it. That’s why it shares its recent study that reveals which will be the most sought-after enclaves by its users.
Among the most sought-after countries is Japan, with three cities on the list (Osaka, Tokyo and Kyoto) and Brazil, with another three (Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Maceió). They are followed by France, where Paris stands out, as it will host the Olympic Games during the summer months, hence the seven-fold increase in searches for accommodation. In terms of more exotic landscapes, there is Nassau in the Bahamas, as well as the American landscapes of Indianapolis, Dallas and Colorado Springs.
