Arcade Fire, Jungle, Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Folamour, Sen Senra and Ralphie Choo are some of the names that make up the first preview of the line-up.
On 11, 12 and 13 July, Kobetamendi will once again host a new edition of the emblematic Bilbao BBK Live, one of the most acclaimed music festivals in our country. And, as usual at this time of the year, we discover which are the first confirmed artists who will make the slopes of the Basque mountain rumble and create that unique space where music converges with nature in a magical way.
In order to understand this unique experience you will have to live and feel the festival from the inside. Rich in biodiversity, it will host contemporary industry benchmarks, intergenerational artists, emerging voices, experimental projects and eagerly awaited comebacks such as Arcade Fire, who will return with their apotheosic live show after conquering Cala Mijas and MEO Kalorama. Jungle will turn the local forest upside down with a funk jamboree, while Massive Attack will once again prove who are the kings of trip-hop. There will be no shortage of 2000s electronic anthems from The Prodigy and Underworld.
Overmono and Folamour will land in Bilbao with an A/V format that will highlight the electronic electricity of this edition; Ezra Collective will surprise us with their unique fusion of soul, hip-hop, calypso and afrobeat and Los Bitchos will make us dance with sounds from the cumbia of the 70s and 80s.
As in every edition, Bilbao BBK Live welcomes a whole palette of green colours, lush textures and eloquent sounds that come through unique bands such as Mulatu Astatke, father of ethio-jazz; Cymande, from Jamaica and French Guiana or Death From Avobe 1979 and their recognisable hard-rock.
With a commitment to national talent, the performances of Ralphie Choo, Sen Senra, Jimena Amarillo, Queralt Lahoz, El Columpio Asesino, Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba and Nerve Agent have been confirmed, among other essential names that will add the final touch to a brilliant line-up.
From tomorrow, 29th November until 1st December you will be able to access the pre-sale at special prices on the festival’s official website and at Fever Up. The general sale will begin on 1 December at 10am with the possibility of payment in instalments and camping.
