In February, the partnership between Salomon and Salomon Villada Hoyos, better known as Feid, was confirmed. The artist is known for popularising Paisa culture terms such as MOR and for generating a unique sound and visual identity within the urban genre. Whether on stage, in the city or in the country, the Colombian singer has always been a fan of Salomon footwear. So it was no surprise to see in a recent Instagram post how Feid revealed a video teaser of the process behind his first collaboration with Salomon: ‘FXXOMOR’.
The Salomon XT4 by Ferxxo combines green, orange, black and white. However, the teaser hints that other colour combinations could be on the way. The author of the design is Manuela Villada, Feid’s sister, the person he always trusts to shape his non-musical projects. From the little that can be seen so far, we highlight the modification that has been made on the side of the toe box, where you can now read ‘SALOMON MOR’ and not ‘SALOMON LAB’, as well as the ability to glow in the dark.
