These are the nominees for Designer of the Year and the BFC Foundation Award

The British Fashion Council has just updated the list of nominees for the Fashion Awards 2023 to be held on 4 December in London.

While most of the categories were unveiled earlier this year, the nominees for Designer of the Year and the BFC Foundation Award were only revealed today. Thus, the names on the shortlist for Designer of the Year are: Daniel Lee (Burberry), Jonathan Anderson (JW Anderson and LOEWE), Matthieu Blazy (Bottega Veneta), Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons (Prada), and Sarah Burton (Alexander McQueen).

In addition, the BFC Foundation Award recognises the work of designer NEWGEN and the nominees for the award are: AARON ESH, Chet Lo, Connor Ives, Paolo Carzana and Sinéad O’Dwyer.
