A total of 30 candidates are vying for the prestigious award given by the fashion house.
Selected by a committee of experts from among 3,900 proposals from artisans from 124 countries, the finalists represent 16 different nations and specialise in various disciplines such as ceramics, wood, textiles, furniture, paper, basketry, glass, metal, jewellery, lacquer and leather.

The winning work will be announced on 14 May 2024 during the opening of the exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo, where the shortlisted works will be on display until 9 June 2024. The final decision will be made by a jury of 12 leading figures from the world of design, architecture, journalism, criticism and museum curatorship.
