Fashion enthusiasts and curious people in general have, at some point this year, searched for a style that caught their attention. It is impossible not to get carried away by one of the thousands of trends that have marked this 2023, among which the ‘barbiecore’, the ‘bloke core’, the ‘quiet luxury’, the ‘Portuguese style’ or the ‘balletcore’, to give some examples.
If there is one figure that has stood out above the rest, it has been Margot Robbie. The ‘Barbie’ star went crazy with the original designs she wore on the different pink carpets, all of them inspired by special editions of the famous Mattel doll. Taylor Swift also became a style icon, thanks to the exclusive looks that marked her ‘The Eras Tour’ tour, courtesy of major fashion houses such as Versace, Oscar de la Renta and Roberto Cavalli.
It’s worth mentioning it-girl Ice Spice, the queen of the Y2K aesthetic with her velvet tracksuit outfits, colourful miniskirts and fun tees. Even Heaven, Generation Z’s favourite brand, selected her as the star of their campaigns. A dream come true.
Last but not least, Keke Palmer was one of the most searched figures on Google after attending the MET Gala in a spectacular Chanel dress, paying homage to the great Karl Lagerfeld.
