This book collects the best modernist buildings located in tropical paradises

The book ‘Concrete Jungle’ collects some of the most exclusive modernist buildings hidden in the tropical nature.

‘Concrete Jungle’ by the Berlin-based publishing house Gelstalten features some of the most exclusive Art Nouveau buildings hidden in tropical nature.

A total of 304 pages in which we can find an extensive tour of landscapes from all over the world and discover pioneering architects in this movement. Among the projects it covers, we find true works of art such as the Cuadra San Cristóbal by Luis Barragán in Mexico City; the Casa de Cristal by Lina Bo Bardi or the Casa Butantã by Paulo Mendes da Rocha, both located in São Paulo.

“The clash of rational architecture with the organic exuberance of tropical vegetation has created some of the most visionary and futuristic buildings we know of, say the editors of the publication themselves.

‘Concrete Jungle will be available for purchase on 28 March from gestalten.com.
