The V&A Museum in London invites you to immerse yourself in a retrospective journey celebrating the unique vision of the designer who changed fashion forever.

This is the exhibition ‘Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto’ which will be hosted by the London museum in collaboration with the Palais Galliera and where absolutely all the aspects that make up the history of the designer are collected. From the opening in 1910 of the first CHANEL boutique specialising in hats to her last fashion show in 1971. A collection of pieces, archives, documents, sketches, accessories, jewellery and even perfumes that keep alive the legacy of the Maison and its influence on the industry.

“Gabrielle Chanel was a legend during her lifetime. This exhibition explores her contribution to fashion and her radical vision of a style that created modernity and reflected women’s aspirations and evolving place in society,” says Bruno Pavlovsky, President of CHANEL SAS and CHANEL Fashion.

The exhibition will open its doors to the public on 16 September. A must-see if you are visiting the British capital. Get your tickets by clicking here.
