This is how we experienced O Marisquiño 2024 with Reebok

We went backstage to experience one of the most special editions of the acclaimed festival, which had the unconditional support of the sports brand.

Danny León took the reins of HIGHXTAR. during the last four days to broadcast each and every one of the details that marked the four days of O Marisquiño 2024. The acclaimed skateboarder landed in Vigo directly from Paris after having participated in the Olympic Games with the aim of being crowned as the undisputed champion of the Miniramp category for the fifth consecutive time. For him, this event has been a very important date in his calendar since he was no less than 12 years old.

Reebok didn’t want to miss out on this celebration of sport, music and streetstyle either, bringing its innovative spirit and passion for fashion, self-expression and an active lifestyle to the skateboarding, BMX and breaking track staff of this latest edition.

Viki Gómez, a leading figure in the BMX Flatland discipline, starred in one of the most exciting encounters of the weekend: an epic duel with Varo Hernández. The Reebok rider managed to take first prize in Saturday’s qualifiers, while on Sunday he had to settle for second place on the podium.

Other outstanding disciplines were Breaking, led by Flying Legs; Adaptive Skateboarding with Italo Romano taking first place; WCS Street Men with Tijmen Overbeek as winner and WCS Street Women with Valentina Krauel as winner; or the cock battles with Kavron emerging as winner in the Gold Battle Qualifier and in Throne of the North and also together with Lee33 in the Gold Size 2vs2 final.

But this is not the first time that Reebok has teamed up with an international competition. Last June, the sports giant announced its collaboration with Red Bull on the world’s biggest breakdance competition: Red Bull BC One. Through this special partnership, Reebok will support and connect hundreds of b-girls, b-boys, judges and MCs from around the world through its designs, and together they will reach the Red Bull BC One 2024 World Final in Brazil on December 7.
