The new Givenchy icon.
Givenchy has just unveiled The Snatch, a new bag that marks a key moment in its proposal for 2026. More than a simple accessory, it is presented as an object of design with a sculptural and feminine aesthetic. It is designed to integrate naturally into any look. Its silhouette stands out for drawing attention without excess, relying on clean lines and a strong, defined presence.
The design of the bag aligns with Sarah Burton’s creative language. In her work, shapes adapt to the body and enhance the figure. In this case, the curves of the bag recall the waist of a jacket or the fit of a well-structured garment. The leather is soft, yet firm, allowing the bag to maintain that sense of visual “tension” that adds volume and character.
Crafted from calf leather with a natural texture, the exterior balances durability and flexibility. Inside, a contrasting nappa lining adds a pop of colour when opened. Metallic details also stand out, available in gold and silver finishes. The chain, angular zips and small metal feet at the base give the silhouette a more technical edge.
The Snatch arrives in three sizes and a colour palette that combines deep tones such as black, dark brown and aubergine with brighter options like pink, red and cream. There is also a black-and-white two-tone version. It can be carried by hand, over the shoulder or worn crossbody.
The Snatch is positioned as one of Givenchy’s strongest statements for the upcoming season, alongside a campaign photographed by David Simms.
