After the success of the former footballer’s documentary “Beckham”, we can’t help but think about his wife Victoria’s self-care routine. We tell you about the skincare routine she follows both day and night.
Victoria Beckham, known for her elegant style and impeccable approach to fashion, is a source of inspiration for many in the beauty and fashion world. In the documentary “Beckham,” she shows her commitment to her skincare and personal image, which has piqued the interest of beauty lovers around the world.
Victoria Beckham’s glowing, radiant skin is enviable, and her self-care routine has been the subject of curiosity. From her choice of beauty products to her skincare practices, the former Spice Girl has occasionally revealed some of her secrets and tricks for radiant skin on Instagram.
But it was her facialist, Australian Melanie Grant (possibly the professional who has cared for the most famous skins), who was responsible for revealing a more extensive list of products that the former Spice Girl has used on a daily basis. The list includes everything from creams to toners and day and night treatments, which we reveal below.
Some of the steps in her routine:
In the morning, apply Cosmedix’s Purity Solution Cleansing Oil, formulated with a nutrient-rich blend of olive, moringa, kukui, safflower, sesame and argan oils, it removes dirt from the skin and is ideal for oily skin.
Next, iS Clinical’s Pro-Heal Serum Advance protects your skin from external agents. Its formula contains a new sustained release Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid).
To prevent age lines or dark circles under the eyes in the morning, the designer uses Cosmedix Eye Dr, a serum that stimulates the skin. The key is in its formulation, a combination of retinol, alpha-lipoic acid, antioxidants and coconut extract, which increases cell metabolism.
For sun protection use Melanie Grant’s SPF50+. Another option is Chanel’s CC Cream SPF50 with hyaluronic acid – the prolonged use of which helps to refine and soften fine lines – and vitamin C.
As for her nighttime routine:
Beckham exfoliates with Cosmedix’s Purity Clean and then applies Biologique Recherche’s P50 combination skin lotion. The designer uses it only at night to remove all the dead skin cells from her face.
Her toner is Biologique Recherche P50. A classic among facialists and beauty editors, it is the favourite of many models (it is used by Bella Hadid and Alessandra Ambrosio).
Reapply the Eye Dr Cosmedix serum and add the same brand’s Serum 24 Rapid Renewal Complex. This is a potent anti-ageing facial serum: it contains a combination of LG-Retinex, and encapsulated retinol and retinaldehydes, as well as vitamin E.
Beckham uses Augustines Bader The Cream, a light but highly moisturising cream that is credited with stimulating a skin rejuvenation process. It contains aloe vera, is rich in antioxidants, includes amino acids and vitamins A, B, C and E.
Finally, every day she applies a personalised mask made by Grant herself. As the rest of us don’t have a facialist to design our own mask, you can opt for Chanel’s Night Repair Mask, which reduces signs of fatigue.
Extra care:
First of all, there are the facial massages. One of the staples of her beauty routine. Victoria Beckham has oily and acne-prone skin so, for her, this type of treatment is a must as it combats the puffiness and congestion on her face. If you don’t have time or can’t afford to invest in a facialist, there are tools that mimic this process so you can do the massage yourself as part of your skincare routine.
Victoria Beckham goes to a clinic every six months for Morpheus8, a minimally invasive treatment that specialises in firming skin on the face and body. His procedure involves sticking 24 needles of 4 millimetres each into the face and is performed every six months. This treatment can treat (depending on how deep you adjust the depth) anything from active acne, acne scars, stretch marks, fine wrinkles?
Another facial treatment that Victoria has tried is a radiofrequency skin tightening treatment called Collagenwave non-invasive treatment, which consists of producing collagen so that the face looks fuller and, consequently, with less signs of ageing. This gives the skin a constant glow to the complexion and eliminates any hint of dryness.
It’s no secret as it is a widespread practice in skin care: phototherapy. It is one of her favourite treatments thanks to which she manages to combat ageing, resulting in elastic, wrinkle-fading and decongested skin. This treatment, which combines red and blue light, can be done yourself by purchasing an LED face mask with both lights.
