Twenty years ago, the New York designer launched his eponymous label, which has become a benchmark for formal fashion with a distinctive athletic flair. To commemorate this milestone in his career, Browne has prepared a special capsule collection that pays tribute to the founding year of his brand, 2003.
Standout pieces include blazers, pants, varsity jackets and polo shirts in shades of navy, all adorned with the brand’s signature commemorative stripes and numbers. Pleated skirts and hooded outerwear add a calm, fitted touch, while floor-length coats, T-shirts and knitwear are presented in elegant white, gray and red tones.
In addition to the apparel, the collection also includes round-rimmed mirrored glasses and a unique leather bag with textured detailing and gold hardware, perfectly complementing Thom Browne’s signature style.
This commemorative collection joins other celebrations of the brand’s 20th anniversary, such as the recent publication of a fashion book that looks back on its history. The “2003” capsule is now available in physical stores and online.
In other fashion news, Heaven by Marc Jacobs takes inspiration from ‘Donnie Darko’ for its latest collection.
