A fortnight ago the first details of what is probably one of the most desired launches of the year were revealed. Veneda Carter has the power to turn everything she touches into an object of desire, and this creative encounter was not going to be any different.

So the new Air Max Muse comes in a brutally attractive combination of white leather and black mesh uppers, a hot pink inner tube, a brown mini Swoosh and co-branded insoles. All topped off with gold hardware designed by Carter herself, who never fails to draw inspiration from her own world.

‘They’re exactly the kind of trainers I love to wear: they have this universal appeal that mixes a classic, sporty look with a sexy, feminine feel,’ says the creative. ‘My goal in designing this version of the Air Max Muse was to let my personality and energy shine through, so that anyone who saw the shoes would immediately recognise them as my style,’ she added.

The collection will launch exclusively at Naked Copenhagen on 30 May, followed by a global drop at venedacarter.com on 23 June. Finally, they will arrive at SNKRS and selected retail outlets on 17 July.
