Tiffany & Co. launches “Bird on a Rock” reinterpreting its jewellery

Tiffany & Co. launches Bird on a Rock, its new collection of high jewellery and fine jewellery. Zhang Ziyi and Abby Champion star in the campaign.

Tiffany & Co. presents Bird on a Rock, its new collection of high jewellery and fine jewellery, available from 2 September. Designed by Artistic Director Nathalie Verdeille, it reinterprets Jean Schlumberger’s iconic brooch from 1965. The collection combines tradition and contemporaneity.

The campaign stars actress Zhang Ziyi and model Abby Champion. It was photographed by Carlijn Jacobs and styled by Katie Burnett in a setting of open skies and clouds. This environment reflects the lightness and elegance of the designs.

Additionally, videos have been produced narrating the history and evolution of the Bird on a Rock brooch. They are divided into three chapters: Tiffany’s fascination with birds, Schlumberger’s original inspiration, and the brooch’s transformation into a cultural icon.

This collection includes two lines of fine jewellery and two suites of high jewellery. The fine jewellery takes two approaches: figurative birds in platinum and 18-carat gold with precious stones, and the abstract “Wings” motif, which captures the movement of flight.

The high jewellery suites pay homage to Tiffany & Co.’s heritage, exploring tanzanite and turquoise. These pieces dialogue with the Sixteen Stone collection.

Bird on a Rock is a contemporary reinterpretation of a classic. Each piece combines design, craftsmanship and culture.
