Timberland is once again teaming up with Seoul-based brand thisisneverthat to launch a new limited-edition capsule celebrating the heritage and innovation of both brands. The collaboration follows on the heels of the first meeting last December, when they reinvented Timberland’s iconic 6-inch boots, along with a clothing line of shared hoodies, hats and duffel bags.
This time around, the proposition is even more exclusive, highlighting the new Heritage Moc Toe GTX Mid ‘Desert’, a pair of boots that are updated with a premium suede design in ‘Desert’ tones. Accompanying this piece of footwear is a Blue Grey Quarter Zip sweatshirt that complements the understated and sophisticated aesthetic of the collaboration.
The Heritage Moc Toe GTX Mid ‘Desert’ keeps the classic Timberland essence with its rugged and timeless silhouette, but incorporates a key upgrade: GORE-TEX technology, which offers waterproofing and breathability. Subtle details like matching laces and tonal embossing add a touch of distinction, while the padded collar and black rubber outsole provide a sleek, minimalist contrast. The collaboration is reflected in small touches like the thisisneverthat logo on the insole and the embossed hang tag.
The sweatshirt, meanwhile, features a relaxed fit in a retro blue-grey tone, with a stand-up collar and a quarter zip down the centre. Functional details include welt pockets and ribbed cuffs, while both brands’ logos are embroidered to the front in a vintage font that highlights the classic feel of the collaboration.
Both pieces will be available from 29 November on the thisisneverthat website and in selected shops.
