Timothée Chalamet makes his action debut in High Side

High Side, described as Heat crossed with Hell or High Water and starring Timothée Chalamet, is based on an unpublished story by Jaime Oliveira. Chalamet plays Billy, a former motocross racer marked by an accident and a troubled family past, who becomes involved in a series of bank robberies on superbikes alongside his brother. With the FBI on their trail, the story centres on speed and risk as key elements.

For Chalamet, this will be his first major action role. Meanwhile, James Mangold, who has experience with narratives combining physical tension and character development (Ford v Ferrari, Logan), will direct the Paramount project.

According to Paramount, High Side represents their commitment to original and daring cinema, starring Timothée Chalamet. Currently in pre-production, the cast will be announced in due course.
