In the new line, chino pants have been cleverly ripped and repatterned to become modern cargo pants, while trucker jackets have been made using patches of denim and tartan.

Classic Oxford shirts now feature red, white and blue labels, inspired by varsity jackets. Even a pair of shorts has been made from navy and yellow fabrics from academic coats. Also, an Alaska sweater uses leftover knits for its bottom, and a cropped sweater incorporates eclectic knits.

“I have always respected Greg’s attention to detail, as well as his taste and talent,” Hilfiger shared. “His deconstructed art blurs the line between classic and contemporary. We find inspiration and beauty in similar things, from rustic American style to modern prep. It’s about reimagining the classics to look new today.”

Greg Lauren also shares his enthusiasm for the collaboration, “Tommy Hilfiger embodies a fresh perspective on heritage, giving it a modern twist,” he says. “My goal with this collaboration, as always, was to take existing pieces, deconstruct them and create something new. I was excited by the idea of someone discovering a box of classic Tommy Hilfiger pieces and working with that material.”

Each piece will be limited to approximately 20 numbered units and prices will vary between $350 and $3500 USD (330 and 3295 euros). Stay tuned if you want to get your hands on some, as the highly anticipated “Tommy x Greg Lauren” collection will be available in select stores later this week.
