In a new fusion of fashion and technology, Tommy Hilfiger, through Hilfiger Ventures in collaboration with Joe Lamastra, is preparing to launch “FashionVerse”.
This interactive fashion game for iOS and Android devices, due for release in January 2024, will use artificial intelligence to let players create photorealistic avatars, scenarios and accessories in a community-based environment.
Conceived by Hilfiger and designed by BrandBible, FashionVerse promises an immersive experience where users will face challenges in modes such as “Stylist” and “Trendsetter.” In the Stylist mode, players will design fashion ensembles, while the Trendsetter mode will challenge them to build creative moodboards.
The collaboration with gaming company Tilting Point ensures the quality of the game, which will allow participants to share their creations, vote for other stylists’ “scenes,” comment on favorite looks, earn rewards and unlock advanced styles.
“My life’s goal has been to make fashion more accessible,” stated Tommy Hilfiger. “Working with Tilting Point and Brandible, I truly believe this FashionVerse collaboration marks an exciting milestone in the convergence of fashion and gaming.”
The exact release date has not yet been confirmed, but it will arrive sometime next January.
On the other hand, Gosha Rubchinskiy returns to the industry as the creative head of Yeezy.
