In its ongoing quest to elevate the classic and the businesswoman in this autumn’s ‘Office Siren’, Tory Burch is joining the trend in force with the new Pierced Pump, the new evolution of a classic heeled shoe that’s making a big splash this season.
They started in their mule form in the spring/summer 2023 collection, but now culminate in corporate elegance and femininity, in a particular composition of the heel, slightly moulded in curve, a technique the fashion house likes to employ in its garments and jewellery, replete with trompe l’oeil and impossibly sublime shapes.
But the real special feature of this shoe is the toe ring, a sculptural silver shape that tries to imitate a ring on the foot, wrapping it harmoniously around the shoe to decorate it and make it stand out, because as Tory herself says: ‘it’s about making the everyday sublime’ something that this autumn/winter collection launch aims to achieve by looking for new textures and silhouettes, alternative volumes and innovative dimensions to give the New York woman.
You can see them in classic black as well as in brown and terracotta tones ideal for this autumn, complementing the refined collection already worn by all the celebrities for New York Fashion Week, where the reinterpretation of the silhouette hits the catwalk.
Tory Burch presented its SS25 collection at the iconic Skylight at The Refinery.
