Travis Scott celebrates 10th anniversary of ‘Days Before Rodeo’ with a very special re-release

Just 16 hours ago, Travis Scott posted on instagram to announce the re-release of the mixtape that launched his career: Days Before Rodeo. In honour of the project’s 10th anniversary, the rapper has prepared a re-release of the album on all platforms, as well as a CD, vinyl, and three types of merchandise sets. The project will hit platforms on 23 August.

The video contained archival footage of La Flame recording the mixtape alongside Metro Boomin, Future, Young Thug, Southside and more, as well as his performances on the Days Before Rodeo Tour.

‘Days Before Rodeo’ was released on August 18, 2014 and served as a precursor to the rapper’s debut studio album, “Rodeo,” which was released the following year. The mixtape helped cement Travis Scott’s place in hip-hop with its dark, atmospheric production and unique sound that blends elements of trap, hip-hop and psychedelia. In fact, the album played an important role in anticipating the album that launched Travis Scott’s career and positioned him as a rising star in the music industry.

Some of the star tracks on ‘Days Before Rodeo’ include ‘Mamacita’, ‘Drugs You Should Try It’ and ‘Don’t Play’. The project features collaborations with artists such as Young Thug, Big Sean, Rich Homie Quan, Migos and Peewee Longway. As for the unreleased tracks, they appear to be from the original Days Before Rodeo era and will be officially available for listening and purchase on digital, vinyl or CD via the official website https://shop.travisscott.com.

The news comes at a sweet time for the rapper, who is continuing a successful ‘Circus Maximus’ world tour, which included Madrid as one of the stops in Europe. The rapper set the Wizink Center on fire for two days in a row. Now, it is the turn of Australia and Latin America, which are waiting for the fury of La Flame in the next month.
