Travis Scott has announced his upcoming showcase event for the highly anticipated album ‘Utopia’, which marks his first solo release since 2018’s Grammy-nominated Astroworld.
“UTOPIA LIVE AT THE PYRAMIDS,” the rapper wrote on Instagram, along with the official poster for the Live Nation event. Tickets for the show, as well as a number of Utopia packs, are available for purchase on the artist’s official website. In addition, the show will be streamed live so we can watch the “unforgettable show that will immerse fans in the world of Utopia” from home.
Utopia is Travis Scott’s first full-length album since Astroworld, which was released in 2018. Just over two years ago, the rapper held his annual Astroworld Festival, which ultimately led to the deaths of ten fans in what police called a “mass casualty incident”. Last month, a Texas grand jury decided it would not indict Scott on any criminal charges related to the event.
The album does not yet have an official release date, although Scott has opened pre-orders for the album on his web shop, with CDs, vinyl and merchandise.
The Nike Mac Attack is back with Travis Scott and John McEnroe.
