The figure of Tupac is still present in the collective memory. The rapper burst onto the American music scene in the late 1980s, when the prototypical young black male was demonised by the establishment as the cause of the wave of crime and drug trafficking that stalked the United States.

Such is his weight in the music scene and in hip-hop culture that, almost 30 years after his death, there are still artists and brands that honour his short career. This is the case of Denim Tears and Our Legacy, the pair have decided to collaborate to launch a collection inspired by the rapper’s style.

This collaboration is a symbol of authenticity, rebelliousness and pure love for music. Tupac’s distinctive and personal identity has been reflected over the years through his looks. His unmistakable style has influenced countless artists and designers throughout history.

The collaboration gives prominence to denim with the iconic studded Levi’s 501 and trucker jacket, as well as the legendary leather outfits worn by Tupac. In addition, the collection also includes printed, hockey-style shirts, a knitted waistcoat, a velvet suit and workwear boots.
