Two of the most important artists of our time are featured in a series of pieces signed by the Japanese retailer.
Combining the imagery of Andy Warhol and KAWS, UNIQLO is pleased to unveil the latest collection of its UT line. An invitation to get up close and personal with his art in collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, this unique collection comes in the form of T-shirts, sweatshirts, sports jackets, socks and tote bags. They all feature the popular characters created by Brian Donnelly and the Pittsburgh-born artist’s famous illustrations.
In addition, an Art Book of the KAWS x Warhol exhibition, currently on display at the Andy Warhol Museum in the United States, will be available exclusively in UNIQLO‘s physical stores and also on the official website. Inside you will find interesting reflections and comparisons between the two significant figures, as well as a previously unpublished interview with KAWS, essays by art historians and curators, and images from the exhibition.
The collection will go on sale on 22 August.
