UNIQLO presents its latest local campaign with singer-songwriter Valeria Castro, #ValeriaCastroxUNIQLO, with the aim of empowering Madrileños to make their projects a reality. An ongoing celebration of UNIQLO Gran Via’s artistic origins and the welcoming character of Madrid, #ValeriaCastroxUNIQLO reflects UNIQLO’s continued support of culture since the opening of its latest flagship shop in October last year.
#ValeraCastroxUNIQLO represents how the everyday basics and refined design of LifeWear merge with the creative and cultural atmosphere of the Spanish capital. The campaign is a visual tour of some of the most recognisable corners of La Palma, as well as the creative places where Valeria finds her musical and aesthetic inspiration. Her sweet melodies, accompanied by a guitar with a sound steeped in Canarian folklore, allow her to channel everything she thinks, feels and sees into her music, all of which is represented in the campaign through the relaxed lens of LifeWear.
Valeria finds in UNIQLO the elegance and comfort she needs for her performances, creating a special bond between her and UNIQLO LifeWear. Valeria Castro’s selection of essentials for this spring/summer season inspires lightness. She opts for fabrics such as linen applied to wide leg trousers, shirt dresses and UNIQLO’s iconic shirts. Essential and sophisticated garments are complemented with oversized pieces in vibrant and warm colours. A perfect combination that unleashes that energy that characterises her so much during her creative processes.
The artist, who is a rising star on the national music scene, will present her next album on Wednesday 22 March at 7.30pm during a live showcase at the UNIQLO flagship shop in Gran Vía, Madrid. During her performance, the singer seeks to surprise with an intimate and personal show in which she opens up to the public through her latest songs. “Con Cariño y con Cuidado”, Valeria Castro’s new album created with a lot of care and effort, will be released on all platforms on 24 March.
