‘UTOPIA’ becomes the first rap album in five years to spend its first month at No. 1

Travis Scott continues to make history with his album ‘UTOPIA’ as it enters its fourth consecutive week at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

This sequel to their hit album ‘ASTROWORLD’ has managed to generate revenues totaling $1 billion.

‘UTOPIA’ has recorded a total of 161,000 album equivalent units. This includes 92,000 units sold in physical album format, 69,000 streaming album equivalent units and the remainder comes from album equivalent units per song. In addition, it is now the first album in five years to spend its first four weeks topping the chart after Drake’s Scorpion in 2018.

In addition, new albums have also entered the top 10 this week. Among them, Hozier’s “Unreal Unearth” makes its debut at No. 3 with 62,000 album equivalent units, and J-Hope’s “Jack in the Box” returns to the chart after a year at No. 6 with 50,000 album equivalent units.

Elsewhere on the chart, Morgan Wallen and the Barbie soundtrack remain in the No. 2 and 4 positions respectively, followed by Taylor Swift in the No. 5, 7 and 8 positions. Peso Pluma drops to No. 9, while Morgan Wallen closes for a second time in the No. 10 position.
