The seventh edition of UVNT Art Fair 2023 has ended with more than 15,000 visitors, 20% more than last year, interested in knowing the proposals of the New Contemporary Art.
UVNT Art Fair 2023 has brought together 34 galleries (19 national and 15 international) and three of them have sold all the work presented. These are the Madrid-based Swinton Gallery, with Srger; the Mallorcan Gallery RED with Studio Lena and the Barcelona-based Victor Lope Arte Contemporáneo, with Javier Ruiz.
In total, 70% of the works on show were sold, with prices ranging from €200 to €35,000. And although the main protagonist of the fair was painting, sculpture also broke records: Adam Stech‘s bust of Picasso (The Curators Room), an edition of five pieces, was sold in its entirety and La Gordita by the artist Ella Fidalgo (La Bibi Gallery) was acquired by a foundation and is the most expensive piece sold.
In addition to the support of collectors and foundations, which awarded a total of 10 acquisition and residency prizes, the fair also had a high level of female participation.
See you at the next UVNT Art Fair!
