At the age of 91, Valentino Garavani will be honored with the award given by the British Fashion Council in recognition of his influence in the world of fashion, culture and entertainment.
The ceremony will take place at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, where his remarkable contributions to these fields will be celebrated with a defined purpose. This award places him alongside other important fashion figures such as Giorgio Armani, Miuccia Prada, Ralph Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld, who have left a lasting mark on the industry worldwide.
Garavani said of the award:
“It is a great honor to receive the Outstanding Achievement Award. Over the years, I have been fortunate to witness the transformative power of fashion, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I have had. Being honored in London, one of my most beloved cities, makes this moment even more special.
