Maison Valentino introduces the new campaign dedicated to the Valentino Garavani Nellcôte bag – an ode to freedom, spontaneity, and the timeless allure of music.
Conceived by Creative Director Alessandro Michele and captured through the lens of photographer Julie Greve, the imagery transports us to an imagined concert scene: a sun-drenched field where a group of friends waits for the music to begin. Laid back in the grass, embracing, laughing, playing with a hula hoop – each moment radiates an effortless joy and raw authenticity. The Nellcôte bag, slung across bodies and nestled among the group, becomes a symbol of personal expression and lived moments.
Tapping into the bohemian energy of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, the campaign reimagines the original spirit of the bag. It’s not just an accessory – it’s a witness to stories. Worn in the crowds, carried through city streets, or resting on festival grass, the Nellcôte becomes part of a lifestyle where emotion leads and style follows.
VALENTINO GARAVANI NELLCÔTE BAG
Evoking the spirit of the late 1960s, the Valentino Garavani Nellcôte family continues to play a central role in Maison Valentino’s collections. With its signature hippie-chic allure, the group is expanded this season with rich new textures and bold decorative elements.
The signature crossbody and tote silhouettes – both crafted in soft suede – are reimagined with embroidered mirrors, vibrant jacquards featuring geometric motifs, and dimensional flower embroideries in multicolor beads or delicate garlands. Each variation reveals a distinct personality, balancing artisanal intricacy with everyday wearability.
Following the introduction of the medium tote during Spring/Summer 2025, the Fall season brings two new smaller sizes in fresh materials including grained calf, suede, and richly detailed embroidery, such as the whimsical Cherryfic motif – further enhancing the group’s versatility.
