Actress Vanessa Hudgens relaunches her KNOW Beauty brand with a new cosmetics product, this time without Madison Beer.
In 2021, Vanessa Hudgens and Madison Beer teamed up with dermatologist Karen Kagha to create KNOW Beauty. The skincare brand emphasized the importance of personalized skin care, encouraging consumers to take a DNA test to detect their skin’s real needs and help them select the right products.
Now Madison is parting ways with the actress to focus on her music career, and the brand is being redesigned under the leadership of Vanessa Hudgens and Mary Berry, CEO and founder of Cosmos Lab. The initial concept revolving around DNA testing falls by the wayside, as Hudgens explained, the idea didn’t work out the way she wanted it to. “I had been trying to familiarize customers with the brand for a while, but it just wasn’t translating the way we thought it would,” the actress commented.
In this relaunch, the cosmetics brand is focusing on its new product. It is a detoxifying clay mask sustainably harvested from a glacier in British Columbia. We will see how the public responds to this change in the beauty brand.
