The collection dives into the essence of quiet luxury, bidding farewell to excess and with a color palette that leans towards integral shades of gray.
Donatella Versace, in a statement to Vogue, shared that the collection is a personal reflection of the pieces she cherishes most from Versace and those she chooses to wear on a daily basis, as well as the influence of the men around her. The designer has opted to reduce volume, emphasizing crisp tailoring, muted denim and expert layering.
Trench coats and blazers feature the house’s iconic floral motif in shades of gray, while jeans complete sleek ensembles. White logo T-shirts and tank tops act as key elements, lending a casual touch to the collection’s signature elegance.
The line features details such as gray knitted vests over high-waisted pants and light blue denim versions. Coats in shades of cream and brown are paired with white underlayers and blue jeans, highlighting Versace’s ability to create refined shapes. The brand’s classic gold prints adorn jackets, button-down shirts and shorts, providing the eye-catching touch that any Donatella collection should have, no matter how muted it may be.
