From 25 to 30 March the gallery will be present in the Asian city in two ways: it will participate in the ninth edition of the Art Central fair and will present a group show on figurative art together with the Onfinitive Art Foundation. After having attended SRG Singapore in January, the gallery will participate in Art Central Hong Kong, its second international fair of the year. It will do so with works by Alex Becerra, Dis Berlin, Theresa Chromatti, Maciej Kosc, Cristina Lama, Erik Parker, Matías Sánchez and Devan Shimoyama. VETA participates in nine international fairs per year.
Art Central is a key event in Hong Kong Art Week. It is known as the fair with the freshest air and has an outstanding range of contemporary art on offer. Moreover, Hong Kong is currently the most important country in the art market in the Asia-Pacific region. This new edition will take place between 28 and 31 March, in the financial heart of the city, and will bring together 95 galleries. The continent’s most innovative artists will meet other distinguished authors from all corners of the world.
In parallel, VETA by Fer Francés is organising, together with the Onfinitive Art Foundation, an exhibition that can be visited from 25 to 30 March at the H’Queens. It is the exhibition Traces of Life: Global Figuration, curated by Fer Francés himself. This exhibition seeks to offer new visions of figurative art through 14 artists: Alex Becerra, Adrian Ghenie, Kang Haoxian, Yayoi Kusama, Cristina Lama, Liu Bin, Christian Rex van Minnen, Juan de Morenilla, Mr, Yoshimoto Nara, Erik Parker, Matías Sánchez, Devan Shimoyama and Henry Taylor.
The recently renovated H’Queens building is designed as the epicentre of the city’s art scene and houses several galleries. It also contains shops, restaurants and is often the site of pop ups related to the arts, as is the case with the new exhibition by VETA by Fer Francés.
VETA celebrates the art of Los Angeles in the exhibition ‘Another Night in LA’.
