Inspired by the film La Piscine (1969), starring Jane Birkin, the collection takes its inspiration from 70s style at its most sophisticated to propose a versatile wardrobe for day and night. At the centre, impeccably cut tailoring, feminine lingerie dresses, knitwear and accessories: timeless pieces, set to become the stars of this season and many more to come.
Made from natural fabrics such as linen, cotton and silk of the highest quality, wardrobe basics are reinterpreted as clean, luxurious pieces in a neutral palette of white, black, ecru and butter with touches of blue, peach or mauve pink.
Tailoring is the cornerstone of the collection, with perfectly cut patterns in blazers, sharp shoulders and waists, combined with extra-long trousers in relaxed flared cuts, an iconic Victoria Beckham signature. A selection of flowing dresses and slip dresses with bias cuts and outer seams or ruffles also feature throughout the collection, as do transparencies and lingerie-inspired details.
Photographed by David Sims, styled by Emmanuelle Alt and starring models Anok Yai and Freya Nutter, the campaign reflects the collection’s design inspiration with striking images set against the crystal blue backdrop of a pristine swimming pool.
