The model Stella Tennant opened the show with which Victoria Beckham celebrated the tenth anniversary of her brand, describing the collection perfectly: hybrid between men’s and women’s fashion (to which the former Spice Girl has always been faithful) and for an audience of both 40 and 20 years.
Regarding this special celebration, Beckham looked at the brand’s trajectory with perspective and explained, “what we did was celebrate that we were different. We showed that it was okay to be who you are. And that’s what it’s all about: empowering women through fashion. Every woman is different, and there’s something for everyone“.
In the spring-summer 2019 collection parade, the most groundbreaking were the trousers with a V in the hem, which appeared a total of 11 times, and which Beckham herself wore when she appeared at the end of the sow. The rest: angular and asymmetrical lines in very British and serious garments, with the predominance of blazer.
