Vivienne Westwood’s Sun 2023 collection, inspired by Hollywood artists of the 1950s and 1960s, has gone on sale.

The iconic British firm Vivienne Westwood, with the help of Andreas Kronthaler, launches its Sun 2023 eyewear collection inspired by Hollywood icons of the 50s and 60s.

Some of the personalities who have served as a source of inspiration for this new line are the Italian circus performer Moira Orfei and actresses Gina Lollobrigida and Sophia Loren. Among the male figures are the musician Adriano Celentano, the actor Michael Caine, and the man known as the precursor of rock and roll in France, Johnny Hallyday.

One of the most striking models in the glamorous vintage collection features oversized heart-shaped lenses, and the somewhat more understated styles include oval lenses that flatter different face types. All of the eyewear included in the line features the brand’s iconic logo, and is housed in eco-friendly leather cases.

You can already see the collection on the Vivienne Westwood website, which is on sale both online and in the brand’s boutiques around the world.
