Wakana Reunion 2023: the ultimate connection between music, art and nature

Wakana Reunion returns in 2023 to celebrate its fourth edition from the 19th to the 22nd of May in the Alcornocales Natural Park, Cádiz. A unique meeting where nature, music and art merge to become this year’s must-attend and unforgettable event. Only 1000 people will be able to attend this meeting, which aims to differentiate itself from the macro-festivals of the season and consolidate an international community of more than 40 countries.

The Wakana Reunion 2023 line-up, a line-up exquisitely coordinated with the environment, for both day and night, with more than 35 international artists. The line-up is this: DJ Koze, Sofia Kourtesis, DESIREE, Romare (Live), Bosq, Xique-Xique, Sasha Funke, Superpitcher, Yu Su, Misterpiro, Coco Maria, Cucut, Carlo, Antonin (Live), David Triana & Rakim Under, muva of Earth (Live), Tooker, An Castelo, Le Bal Chaloupe (Live), Cosmic Wacho (Live), Flavio Paolo, Karla Mercedes or Josué Bonín de Góngora, among others.

A 24-hour programme that includes instrumental music or concerts during the day and avant-garde electronic sounds at night, all on 4 impressive stages: Main Stage, Lake Stage, Forest Stage or Palapa, a new space where you can enjoy the best “Sunrise Sets” in the south of Spain.

In addition, the fourth edition of the event includes a programme of parallel activities focused on the wellbeing of the body and mind “Wellbeing Area” where we will find more than 20 activities that include different types of yoga, ceremonies, talks and workshops. Among its instructors we find great international names such as Safia Ayad, Lucia Liencres, among others.

Wakana Reunion is not limited to the above, but also offers an impressive gastronomic area with km0 products, sports activities and its renowned “Wakana Market”. In terms of accommodation, the original and comfortable nomadic accommodation such as tipis or yurts with electricity and all kinds of amenities or glamping style options with normal and Premium Bell Tent for 2, 4 and 6 people are still outstanding.

The event will be located very close to the cosy village of Benalup-Casas Viejas in Cádiz, in a unique environment where the remains of ancient civilizations, 25 dolmens from the Neolithic period and a cave with cave paintings, will be witnesses of this meeting. As we have seen in previous editions, Wakana Reunion is closely committed to nature and the environment and aims to become one of the first 100% sustainable festivals.
