Wales Bonner, the brand that has transcended the boundaries of men’s and women’s fashion with an androgynous and sophisticated aesthetic, takes a step forward for Autumn/Winter 2025 with a significant revolution: for the first time, Grace Wales Bonner presents its women’s collection as a standalone.
The lookbook, captured by Zoë Ghertner and with creative direction by Camilla Nickerson, exudes a fresh, contemporary elegance. Fringed dresses and satin skirts, key pieces in the collection, exude sublime luxury, while black leather dresses are embellished with buckles and studs. We also highlight a satin ensemble that reinterprets tailoring with a blazer and palazzo trousers.
The brown and red tracksuits, which echo Wales Bonner’s iconic collaboration with adidas for FW23, have evolved into a more feminine, contemporary, loose-fitting version. The relaxed jacket is complemented by straight, loose-fitting trousers that fuse the nostalgia of a vintage aesthetic with a twist of modernity and subtle sophistication.
For T-shirt lovers, the Selah T-shirt, featuring the iconic Moneta Sleet Jr. photograph, pays a delicate homage to the visual work of the celebrated photographer. This piece is the result of a collaboration with The Black Image Corporation, a vision by artist Theaster Gates, which gives the T-shirt a transcendental dimension, reflecting the intersection between fashion and contemporary visual art.
