Now, in the final stages of the collaboration and as the last products are being sold off, these samples continue to emerge.
Recently, we got a glimpse at what could be the YEEZY version of the popular adidas Originals Samba, renamed the YEEZY 150. While it was already leaked in some blurry images back in 2019, a new series of photos shared by @chaseseesghosts offers a clear look at all the details.
The YEEZY 150 Samba features black and rubber styling, with a suede upper and a more robust construction compared to the original soccer silhouette it’s based on. This fusion combines the spirit of the Samba with the aesthetic of adidas Skateboarding’s Busenitz Pro. The traditional Samba branding on the midfoot is replaced with a distinctive “Wyoming” in a sleeker, crisper font. The shoe seems to evoke the spirit of the YEEZY Powerphase: a reimagining of an adidas classic with collaborative touches that make it stand out.
It’s unlikely that the adidas YEEZY 150 Samba will be hitting stores anytime soon, but if you’re a Yeezy fan, get ready for a slew of new releases in the coming weeks.
And speaking of footwear, Salomon and RANRA reunite on the ‘Better’ silhouette.
